This hackathon presents a unique opportunity for students and recent graduates to showcase their innovation and problem-solving skills in the field of sustainable transportation. From February 7 to February 25, interested individuals can apply to participate. Shortlisted candidates will be notified on February 27, and teams will be formed and notified of their participation on February 29. Teams will then have until March 6 to submit their concept notes.

The current transportation landscape is riddled with challenges, from carbon emissions and traffic congestion to limited access in rural areas and inefficient infrastructure. Traditional modes of transportation, predominantly reliant on fossil fuels, exacerbate climate change and pose significant health risks to populations worldwide. Moreover, the global population is projected to reach unprecedented levels, exacerbating the strain on existing transportation systems. The need of the hour is to develop innovative, sustainable solutions that address these challenges head-on, paving the way for a future where transportation is efficient, equitable, and environmentally responsible.
